Honda UK wanted to streamline activities for its press office and increase PR coverage opportunities by providing journalists with an innovative new media resource that would give them access to imagery and content 24/7.
We created a top of the range, content-rich website, loaded with functional extras that gave the PR Team a brand-new way of working, enabling them to upload new content, distribute press releases, manage press fleet bookings and invite journalists to key industry events.
And to top it all off, we developed a personalised log-in area for journalists where they could control their preferences, RSVP to events and book a press fleet car.
The site attracted over 71,000 unique visitors in its first year and significantly reduced on-going maintenance costs. It was also voted the best of its kind in an independent MORI poll – and shortlisted for the New Media Age Effectiveness Award.
