Introducing E&J Brandy in the UK to a younger audience via an on-pack promotion.
Brandy and a younger audience. A tricky one. We knew that E&J Brandy needed to align itself with a brand that was connected with this audience. So, we came up with the idea of a Sony collaboration.
Promoted on-pack by a necker in the shape of SONY headphones, consumers were directed to a campaign landing page to enter a unique, hopefully winning, code.
of entrants were under 30 and trialling the brand for the first time.
We engineered the collaboration. Created the POS and landing page. Defining the entry mechanics and managed its fulfilment.
The results – a whopping 41% of entrants were under 30 and trialling the brand for the first time – not bad considering the retail price.
Our prize – being asked to launch the E&J Brandy Apple variant to the Trade.
